Victoria has a
wonderful moderate climate that usually offers snow free
living year round. This is one of the many reasons that
the Helm's Inn has become a favourite winter destination
for Snowbirds escaping colder climes elsewhere.
We are a small
friendly hotel located one block from Victoria's exciting
Inner Harbour and Downtown. Adjacent buildings house the
Royal BC Museum and National Geographic's Imax Theatre
The nearby BC Legislative Building provides an ongoing
comedy in action for guests with an absurd sense of humour.
Our central location
offers the opportunity to abandon your car and walk to
Victoria's intriguing shops, sites, attractions and quaint
restaurants. All forms of transportation to and from the
Helm's Inn are easy and readily available.
Helm's Inn guests enjoy a 100% smoke free environment.
Our rooms have been recently redecorated and refurbished
with quality furniture, bedding and beds. All our rooms offer
plush duvets, colour cable TV, direct dial telephones (local
calls are free), refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker,
a teakettle and much more. Studio suites come equipped with
an efficiency kitchenette for those who prefer to prepare
their own meals. We also have units with separate bedrooms
and/or full kitchens for those who wish the utmost in convenience.
Coin operated laundry facilities are provided
on site. There is a special little room off the lobby which
contains a computer. Here guest can check e-mail and browze
the internet free of charge. Our atmosphere is best described
as warm and cozy and friendly.
Helm's Inn offers reduced rates to those very
special winter guests that choose to stay with us for extended
periods of time. Many of our guests come year after year
but there is usually room for more. Please book early.

We offer a reduced
rate for stays of seven days (one week) and a further reduced
rate for stays of 28 days (four weeks). The only stipulation
is that the stay must be in increments of seven days. Please
note that reduced rates vary according to the date. You can
see that reduced rates in October through January are less
than those in February through May. Housekeeping and linen
changes are provided every four days and in between we collect
the garbage and provide fresh towels.

Weekly and 4-weekly reduced
rates are net, non-commissionable and no other discounts
apply.

All rates are quoted in Canadian
Funds.

Rates are for single or double
occupancy, extra persons are $15 per day or $30 per week.

Parking is available on-site
for $5.00 per day, $15 per week or $40. per month.

All rates are subject to Municipal,
Provincial and Federal taxes. Stays of over 61 days may
be eligible for a 10% tax refund.

Reservation confirmations
must be guaranteed by cash, cheque or credit card. All
stays of one week or more require a $200. advance deposit
which is non-refundable if cancelled within 30 days of
the reservation date. Should you wish to use your credit
card, we require a signed authorization letter including
an acknowledgement of our 30 day non-refundable cancellation
policy.

right to change, cancel or amend published rates, dates
and policies at any time, without notice or penalty.
